Ground Contact & Traction
Mount to the track links to provide ground contact and traction. Grouser describes the raised traction profile or shoe type, such as single, double, or triple grouser—not the complete track shoe in every context.
Lower Support
Dozer track rollers support the machine along the lower track frame and guide the track chain through the load-carrying section.
Upper Chain Support
Support and guide the returning upper section of the track chain where the bulldozer undercarriage configuration uses carrier rollers.
Track Guidance

Combined Track Set
Complete Track Group describes a broader assembled or combined track-side replacement scope. Exact included components can vary by machine, supplier terminology, and confirmed inquiry or order scope, so a bare Track Chain, a Chain with Track Shoes, and a Complete Track Group should not be assumed to be identical. Broad requests for dozer tracks or bulldozer tracks still require the exact part scope to be clarified.
Buyer Terminology
Buyers and parts books may use different names for the same component family. Broad terms such as dozer tracks or bulldozer tracks describe the track system generally; they do not by themselves confirm that a Complete Track Group is required.
Bottom Roller and Lower Roller are common buyer and supplier terms. On bulldozers, these rollers support the lower track path under machine load, so the model, roller position, flange configuration, and track-frame arrangement should be confirmed before matching.
Top Roller and Upper Roller may appear as buyer or supplier terms for this upper support component, but usage can vary by machine and catalog. It supports the returning chain above the track frame where used by the machine configuration.
Front Idler and Idler Wheel are common buyer terms. On bulldozers, the idler guides the track chain and works with the tensioning arrangement, so the machine model, idler configuration, mounting details, and related track system should be confirmed.
Also called a Drive Sprocket. It engages with the matching track chain to drive the track assembly.
Often shortened to Segment. The exact drive configuration depends on the bulldozer, so machine and component identification details are needed rather than assuming every dozer uses the same segment arrangement.
A Track Link is one individual link. Track Link Assembly or Link Assembly may refer to an assembled chain, so confirm whether the request is for one link, an assembled chain, or a chain with shoes.
Also called a Track Tensioner. The request may refer to an adjuster assembly, recoil spring, or related component, so photos and references help clarify the required part.
A Track Shoe is the complete ground-contact plate. Grouser refers to its raised traction profile or a shoe type such as single, double, or triple grouser; it is not an unconditional synonym for the complete shoe.
